Medium: Oil on canvas
Dimensions: 24 x 24 inches
Collection: Carrying the Invisible
Carrying the Invisible began with In Sorrow’s Wake and grew into a series exploring the inner life through abstraction, gesture, and instinct. Figures emerge as vessels for grief, vulnerability, love, resilience, joy, and transformation, giving form to the emotional landscapes we carry but rarely reveal.
About the Painting
Nocturne began with a simple pencil outline of a horse and no predetermined path for the painting that would surround it. Transparent color was splashed and poured across the surface, creating unexpected passages that became the starting point for what followed. Each decision grew from the one before it, in a process that felt more like listening than directing.
As layers accumulated, the horse gradually emerged from the surrounding darkness, suspended somewhere between presence and disappearance. Color, gesture, and intuition remain visible throughout the painting, allowing the image to hover between the recognizable and the unknown.
💌 Your painting comes with a special note from me and will be securely packaged and fully insured for shipment.
This artwork is a one-of-a-kind, authentic original. The oil painting and certificate each carry a matching serialized number on a holographic seal. Each certificate is watermarked, embossed, and embedded with fluorescent security fibers to protect the security and genuineness of your original piece of artwork.
